Trees for Tots 2011

It is that time of year again. MedCare Milestones is hosting its 6th annual Trees for Tots event this Saturday, December 3rd, from 9am – 1pm, or until all Christmas trees are gone, at our Stafford location. With the generous donations and contributions from our sponsors and fundraisers, we will have over 200 Christmas trees and ornaments that will be given out to the families of children with special needs. Families will enjoy holiday treats and hot cocoa, as well as have their picture made with Santa and his elves. The Fort Bend Volunteer Fire Department will make an appearance in order for children to see and explore a real fire truck. We are so pleased to be able to provide this heartfelt gesture to all of the families. Their gratitude and expressed appreciation each year keeps us wanting to do more. If you or your company would like to help us with this rewarding event in 2012, we would love to hear from you. Back to School Backpack Drive Was A Success!!

MedCare Milestones is pleased to announce our Back Pack drive for the 2010/2011 school year was a success! We gathered over 100 backpacks stuffed with much needed school supplies! The backpacks were hand-delivered to low-income children throughout the Houston area. Smiles were in great supply as the children received various character-themed bags, including Spiderman, Dora, Lightning McQueen and Disney Princesses to help ensure academic success this year. Trees for Tots 2010

This year's 5th Annual Trees for Tots event was the best one yet!! With the help of countless fundraisers throughout the year, as well as generous community sponsors, more than 200 trees completed with ornaments and lights were provided to our special needs children this December. Our families enjoyed cookies and cocoa, as well as taking pictures with Santa and his elves, while the trees were loaded onto their 'sleighs'. Families were also able to explore a real fire truck and meet members of the Stafford Volunteer Fire Department. We're so pleased to provide this heartfelt gesture to our patients and their families.
