MedCare Milestones offers support and assistance to children in need both locally and globally through a variety of different programs.

Trees for Tots: This annual event provides more than 200 live Frasier Fir Christmas Trees to special needs children, many of whom could not otherwise afford one. Hosted at MedCare Pediatric Group’s property, the entire lot turns into a winter wonderland with trees, ornaments, hot chocolate, cookies, pictures with Santa Claus and more. Each child feels the joy of picking out their own tree, ornaments to decorate with and strands of lights to make it glow.

Back to School Backpack Drive: Another annual event held each August, MedCare Milestones seeks to help better prepare low-income children for academic success by donating hundreds of new backpacks filled to the brim with all the school supplies needed to have a great school year.

radKIDS: This unique program is designed  to teach children to become empowered by replacing fear, confusion and panic of dangerous situations with confidence, personal safety skills and self esteem. Over the course of 3 days, children and their parents are taught about home, school and vehicle safety, avoiding predators, internet safety, uncomfortable touch and bullying prevention. Mission Trips: In order to reach children in need across the globe, Milestones sends teams of pediatric nurses and therapists to under-developed countries to provide healthcare, education and much needed supplies to the children of the area. Most recently, Milestones sent a team to a remote village in China for two weeks.

In addition to our annual programs, MedCare Milestones also supports numerous local organizations that are committed to bettering the lives of children. Most recently, we have been proud sponsors of events that benefit Casa de Esperanza, SIRE, Heroes for Children, Texas Children’s Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
